1. Scope of Application
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to the purchase of paid credits and digital services through PV-Valuator PRO.
PV-Valuator PRO provides digital services for the professional financial valuation of photovoltaic installations.
Purchased credits may only be used for the digital services offered within PV-Valuator PRO.
2. Digital Services
The services offered through PV-Valuator PRO are generally digital content and/or digital services.
After successful payment, the purchased credits are added to the user's account and may be used immediately for the corresponding services.
Paid services may include, in particular:
- Creation of a digital PV valuation report
- PVGIS-based analyses
- Other digital valuation services offered through PV-Valuator PRO
3. Refunds
Refunds are generally possible where the applicable legal requirements are fulfilled.
In particular, a refund may be considered if a purchased digital service could not be properly provided due to a technical error within PV-Valuator PRO and the error cannot be remedied within a reasonable period of time.
In such cases, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and describe the problem encountered.
4. Unused Credits
Unused credits may be reviewed upon request.
A refund for unused credits may be granted in particular where statutory refund rights apply or where there is a justified reason.
A refund for credits that have already been used is generally not possible if the associated digital service has already been fully provided and no statutory refund entitlement exists.
5. Defective or Unprovided Services
If a paid digital service cannot be generated or properly provided due to a technical error, please contact us without undue delay.
We will first examine whether the service can be provided again or whether the technical problem can be resolved.
If the paid service cannot be properly provided, an appropriate refund may be granted depending on the circumstances.
6. Statutory Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal for contracts concerning digital content or digital services, unless this right expires under the applicable legal requirements.
For digital services, the right of withdrawal may in particular expire if performance of the contract begins before the end of the withdrawal period after the consumer has expressly consented to the commencement of performance before the expiration of the withdrawal period and has confirmed their knowledge that the right of withdrawal will expire.
Where a statutory right of withdrawal exists, the applicable statutory provisions remain unaffected.

- Customer name
- Email address of the user account
- Date of purchase
- Affected product or purchased credits
- Reason for the refund request
8. Processing of Refunds
After receiving a refund request, we will review the relevant circumstances and inform the customer of the outcome.
If a refund is approved, the refund will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, where technically possible.
The actual time required for the refund to be credited may vary depending on the payment service provider and payment method used.
9. Payment Processing
Payments for PV-Valuator PRO are processed through Stripe and the payment methods offered through Stripe.
Depending on availability, payment methods may include card payments, PayPal, SEPA-based payment methods and other payment methods supported by Stripe.
Refunds are processed through the respective payment service provider.
10. Statutory Rights
Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected by this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
In particular, statutory rights relating to supplementary performance, withdrawal from the contract, price reduction, damages or cancellation are neither excluded nor restricted by these terms to the extent that such exclusion or restriction would be legally impermissible.
